Doctor Who soundtrack

My flu is progressing nicely, which means staying in bed with my laptop and books. I can tell you that thinking too much about the Master when you have a temperature leads to some very strange dreams...

So, do you make soundtracks? I do it all the time, I'm from a family of musicians and putting songs that fits to what I read or watch is something I have done since I was a kid. I also get ideas on stories from music, not songfics, but music that sets the tone for what I write. The very latest was Prettiest Eyes by The Beautiful South that kick-started Crows Feet On the Prettiest Eyes.

Writing bliss

I don't claim to write anything great. I am, obviously, not original enough to write my own stories. I don't have the skill to write long stories. I happily write clichés. But oh, isn't it a lovely feeling when you have struggled with a story and you get that inner click, the moment when you realise where you are going with it and how satisfying it will be to draw it to that particular conclusion?

Then it doesn't matter that, on the large scheme of things, isn't very important.
