I didn’t like Dougal in the books, but Graham McTavish did such a great job that he became one of my favourites. I must confess that on the whole, even if I think Jamie and Claire are just fine, I’m not particularly invested in them. Which is why I wasn’t sure I would continue to watch it. But I like Brianna and Roger, so I’ll make it a shot.

I wondered if they would give him Alex too, but I’m glad they didn’t they didn’t. I’m sure he would have aced it, though.
