Day 2

In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your wish-list if you feel comfortable doing so. Maybe someone will grant a wish. Check out other people's posts. Maybe you will grant a wish. If any wishes are granted, we'd love it if you link them to this post.


This is always so hard, isn’t it.? At least I feel very greedy to ask for things. But of course there are always things one likes to receive.

1.New friends. I like to discuss books and what I watch and fandom in general. I also write fanfiction, but I really don’t expect my friends to be into it as well. I have an introduction post here. Also, the things I list as interests are likely to pop up in conversation now and then.

2.Fanart. Or banners or icons. I have received a few things over the years and it always makes me feel warm and fuzzy. You can find my fanfics here

3.Fanfic recs! I love to hear of something you love (or have written) and think anyone should read. At the moment I gravitate toward Classic Who, Penny Dreadful and Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrel. Any rating is find and though I lean more toward het and gen fics, I don’t mind a good slash story.

Sure! I'm not much for OTP's, even if I have my favourites and though I can't say I have a special interest in this particular pairing, I always enjoy a well-written fic that can sell a pairing to me even if it is outside my usual haunts. :)

I was thinking something for 'Dancing' or 'I Know What You Want' or even 'Within Reach' if I can find the screencaps I'd need. Because they're the fandoms that I know. We don't overlap in current fandoms aside from HP, but based on your intro post, we share personal interests. I studied literature, and aspire to the Information Science masters (one day!).

I also lean towards gen and slash stories. While I read everything in terms of genre, I prefer moody or darker fics. So that's the long way fo saying, I'm friending you. :)
