11) Have you ever amended a story due to criticisms you’ve received after posting it? I have corrected words- as I’m not a native speaker of English I have on occasion put in a word that has been wildly wrong. Not when it comes to the actual content. Either I don’t agree with the criticism, or it’s a story I don’t care enough about to change, even if I can agree with the comment.
21) Tell me about your current favourite canon, what attracted you to it? What will make you abandon it? Hmm, a canon I write in must be considered a favourite as I write in them. I can say for certain that all my fandoms are either historical, or fantastical, or both. I also like canons with competent females and complex and often suave villains. But I never know for certain why one canon pull me into writing, while others don’t. Like Sense8 which have it all, and which I love, but never felt any urge to write for. My newest fav is iAll About Eve. I rewatched the movie and for some reason, a fic idea started to buzz in my head. I don’t know why, really, but Addison DeWitt is a good example of my favourite kind of villain. As for abandoning canons- I rarely fall out of love with fandom, but sometimes I feel I don’t have anything more to say in it.
39) Do you prefer first, second or third person? Third person. It isn’t a conscious choice, but usually, I find it easier to write. On occasion, I write the first person, but never second.
48) What’s your favourite trope to write? This is probably closer to a theme than a trope, but my female protagonist are never saved by a hero. It can be a joint project, but usually not, and sometimes she saved the hero too. Or she isn’t saved at all. I do enjoy writing darkfic, but less so than I used to.
