29) Do you have a story that you feel doesn’t get as much love as you’d like?
Yes, one, a Doctor Who story called Professor Keller. On the whole, I don’t expect much attention to my fics as I usually feel engaged in small fandoms, or, if they are larger, I find the obscure corner. And I completely get why this fic doesn’t get any attention; it’s an Old Who-fic, it focuses on the Master and not the Doctor, it contains original characters, and is a dark story with several trigger-potential tags. But it’s also a fic that haunted me and I spent a lot of time on it, even re-writing the whole thing. And I feel I did a good job on it, and still feel it’s one of the best fics I’ve ever written. So it would be nice to know someone else liked it, even if I understand why it doesn’t draw in readers.
40) Do people know you write fan fiction?
My husband and three friends know I do, but of these only, my friend M has actually read anything.
43) Has anyone ever guessed the plot twist of one of your fics before you posted it?
No. If anything I have got the opposite where people say that they didn’t expect the plot twist. But perhaps they only try to be nice- I always feel my fics reach the only logical solution. :D
45) What spurs you on during the writing process?
Nothing in particular. I don’t listen to music, and I don’t wait for inspiration. Usually, I go through what I want to write in my heads several times before I write, so it’s more that I need a block of time and decides I am going to write and not something else.
