I don’t have a close relation to any, but I like Star Wars the best. The original Star Trek wasn’t aired in Sweden when it came and I never seen it. I’ve seen the later version and mostly found it boring. But I do like the original Star Wars trilogy, even if I don’t have a strong attachment to it.

I didn't see either till I was in my late teens, and while I'd have to go with Star Wars - I very much enjoyed the re-releases when I was at uni, so getting my first experience in the cinema - while people kept making me watch Star Trek every time I said I liked Doctor Who. And I just found that while I could sit through an ep and mildly enjoy it, it was rather dull. (This being TNG and DS9 - I did see years before the One With The Whales, and that was great). And then one day, years later, I had a housemate who was watching Voyager and I caught sight of Captain Janeway and fell in love on the spot. And then I watched Voyager. However, apparently, that is the rubbish ST according to true fans. *rolls eyes*
