scripsi14 – Ratings – how high are you comfortable with going? Have you ever written higher? If you're comfortable with NC-17, have you ever been shocked by finding that the story you're writing is G-rated instead?
I write any rating, from G to NC-17 and I don’t see why I would be shocked by writing one or the other. I write what I want to write and then decide rating when I’m done. I used to write a lot more NC-17 rated smut than I do now, but I didn’t take a decision to do that, it just happened. I think it had a lot to do with me needing to work out a few things about my sexuality. Now I kind of feel like I have. But I do write self-indulgent smut from time to time to amuse myself.
