SPOILERS:
I didn't see Clara's departure coming. I hadn't picked up on the hints, nor had I come across any spoilers. I also was overseas, living in a monastery, for all the time Clara was in the series with Matt Smith, only returning in time to start with Capaldi's first season, so there is a lot about Clara I haven't yet discovered. But I have been working my way, with my chap, from the first episode of the modern Dr Who. We are almost at the final Tennant episode.

I was sad to see Clara go, but of course, she would never have chosen to leave, so her dying makes sense. And I am glad they gave her a good death.

She was a good companion, but also not my favourite. I think Donna has been my favourite so far. So wonderfully quirky.

Interesting theories about who could be calling the Dr. I had just assumed Daleks (and I know it is almost blasphemous to say, but I find daleks such an uninteresting enemy...). So I like the sound of your theories!

Wonder what will happen with the Dr next, and who his next companion will be, and how he will find her (or him?).
