What I am reading. Cetaganda by Lois McMaster Bujold and Trigger Warning By Neil Gaiman.

What I have finished reading. 50 shades of Grey, which I wrote about here.

The Vor Game by Lois McMaster Bujold. A novella in two parts. In the first part the newly graduated Ensign Mile is assigned duty as a weatherman on a winter base and manages, mostly by accident, almost being accused of treasons. Again. In the second part he is shipped out in space to reunite with his Dendarii mercenaries and manages, again mostly by accident, to find Barrayar's misplaced emperor. It’s not a bad novella, but Bujold is really at her best when she writes novels. However, it is nice to get to know Emperor Gregor a bit better.

The Strange High House In the Mist by H. P. Lovecraft. Another short story, this one not so much horror as strangeness. Not one of my favourites, but not bad either.

What I will be reading next. Cool Air by H. P. Lovecraft.

Housekeeping

I'm making a master list over all the fics I have written. They are about 60, or so, which seems a improbable high number. On the other hand, they have been written over 11 years, so perhaps not so odd, after all. It is a rather tedious job making the list, though.

I badly need a Master icon. Anyone know any good icon communities?

This fandom is pure pleasure for me. I love Classic Who and New Who. I like some Doctors more than others like Three, Four, Five, Ten and Twelve, but I dislike none. I have a special penchant for Roger Delgado's suave Master (read terrible crush). Multi-chapters are linked elsewhere than LJ due to how posts are displayed here.
