Don't worry- he is fine
Feb. 9th, 2016 09:30 pmWas what my husband said first when he phoned me at work today. Then he told me that Teddie had been hit by a car... He mostly is fine too, the car just touched him and one of his foreleg is a bit swollen. He limps, but he puts weight on the leg when he stands still and we can handle the leg without him flinching.
Still we all feel a bit shaken. Tom has been all over the whole evening and husband hasn't felt to great either. Truth be told I'm rather upset with him because I have always felt he lets the dog go unleashed too optimistically. But it's no help for anybody of I say that because husband don't need any help in the blamin department. Also, they were on a street were you are just allowed to walk and there is a fench separating that from the road. Teddie just found a way to get through it. We walk there every dfay and he has never done anything like it before and he is nine years old.
I'm so grateful he just limps, though. We may go to the bed tomorrow if he seems worse, but apart from the limp and stiffness he eats and drinks as he should and has not problems doing what he needs outside.
