Day 03
In your own space, set some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
This is an excellent challenge as I have thought of making this kind of post anyway. ;)
Fannish goals Continue to write fanfic and try to improve my writing. Not join in on too many fic exchanges. I think they are a lot of fun, but too many can easily become stressful. I’ll definitely do Yuletide. ANd also Chocolate Box, which you can sign up for right now up until the 7th. Multifandom and both for fanart and fanfic. And the fics only need to be 300 words long.
I also plan to start up “What I have been reading Wednesday” again. I did so during 2015 and it was great fun, but fell off the wagon in 2016.
Life goals Well, I’ll continue what I strated during the autumn. I had to take a break from my de-cluttering due to being ill and the holidays, but I plan to finally finish sorting my sewing supplies this week.
I’m getting back into taking long walks with the dogs now and by the end of this month my belly dancing course will start. I will also aim to do my Pilates regularly. I seem to have reached the point where I have slowly started to lose weight and I will aim to continue to do so during the year. As I’ve mentioned before I want to change a few things in my life, but I want those changes to be sustainable, so I will allow everything to take it’s time.
I’ve also started my no-spending year. Apart from bills and food, I will only purchase what I absolutely need. My goal is to be debt free by the end of the year and also do some more serious saving.
