I’ve been out with a migraine for two days (as if it wasn’t enough with bronchitis) and I haven’t been around LJ at all. And my f-list, well, it has grown with some 60 new friends and it’s enormous!. Much as it pain me I realise I won’t be able to keep the pace, but if I try to go back to everything I will get perpetually behind. I don’t want to cut my f-list, but I need to manage this somehow- I could spend all my computer time reading interesting posts, but I want to have time write fics too. So I will set a certain time period aside for reading f-list and I will start with the newest and work backwards. I know I will miss out on posts if I don’t have time to read all the way back to the previous last read, but I think this will be the best solution for me. I know this means I will miss interesting posts, and I’m sorry over that, but I don’t want to feel hounded by having to keep up to date either. LJ is for fun, after all. I may have to make a cut later, but I’d like to get to know my new friends first. I’m sure it will be clear eventually which people I won’t interact with and vice versa. I’m sure I will be cut too here and there.
