Stories with no comments or kudos: I don’t have any story without kudos, but several with no comments (though I think they all have got at least one comment elsewhere). Several of these are very short, in obscure fandoms and/or low hit count:

But then there are a bunch with higher hit counts and kudos, often with bookmarks too, which have no comments at all, which I think is a bit strange. If you like a fic so much you want to read it again, why not tell the author that? I think one of the reasons may be because many of these stories are quite dark, and/or smutty and I’ve noticed people tend to comments less on those.

Professor Keller. I must confess that with this particular story it irks me that it has got no comments on AO3, because it’s the story I have put the most into. But to be fair, it has garnered one commenter on Teaspoon and FF.net, and tvo commenters on LJ.
