Who was never aired in Sweden when I grew up, but I had a friend who was mad about them and he nagged me until I agreed to watch them. :) I lovethem, though they suffer at times from lack of budget and the Conventions of the time. I don't mind bad special effects, I hink it's charming, but my husband refuses to watch it for that very reason. And as most story is four to six 30 minutes episodes long, there can be a bit too many cliffhangers and dragged out plotlines. But it's brilliant too!

You don't have to watch it with the First Doctor first. In a way it becomes a new series every time the Doctor regenerates.

Is there anywhere to watch them?

I don't know, I'm afarid. I have borrowed from friends and bought my copies. I know they are available at certain piraty sites if one feels so inclined.
