And no dwarfes, but 12 princes who had been enchanted so each had an animal's head. It also continues after the wedding, with the mother turning the heroine into a golde bird and turning herself into her daughter.
Was it Cinderella or Snow White's story that had the wicked stepmother nailed into red hot shoes as punishment for being a wicked stepmother?
