Oh my all-knowing friends, do you know a comm where one can ask about something you saw on TV ages ago? I have a few things that nag at me from time to time. I did manage to find one, Nobody’s House, but the rest eludes me.

They are not newer than 1978. I know that because I saw all of these on our old black-and-white TV, which broke down for good in -78. I think they were all in English. At least there were subtitles.

I have always thought of this one as a Robin Hood version, but I’ve no idea if it really was. It had a similar set-up anyway, with outlaws living in the woods, only they were children, or teenagers. I only remember scenes like “Robin” having to climb a tree in order to be able to get up on his horse. “Marion” looking at her reflection in water and seeing the bad guy looming behind her and being captured and thrown on a horse. That they became friends with an adult minstrel(?) and that they were at some point in a dungeon. And that the king returned at the end and probably was “Marion’s” father..

I remember even less of these: A group of children time travel back in time to a place where everyone is terrified of a dragon. It turns out the dragon is some kind of robot.

An old house where a panel in a window or a door show things that happened in the past.

Seems familiar to anyone?

The last one rings a faint bell with me, but not much more!

ETA: also yes, there are comms for this kind of thing! For TV shows, you can try [livejournal.com profile] whatwasthatone or [livejournal.com profile] whatwasthatfilm (and there's one for books, too, [livejournal.com profile] whatwasthatbook). :-)

Also, if they were in English, the two time travel ones (especially the last) sound like absolutely typical 70s Brit children's TV serials, so here's a brief round up of children's sf/fantasy of the period at the BFI - see if any of the links lead anywhere for you!

Was the dragon robot one the original 70s version of 'The Tomorrow People'? The wiki says there is a shape-shifting robot...

And the window to the past one... was it Shadows?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadows_(TV_series)

The last episode of series one says:

The Other Window 15 October 1975

A man brings home a distorting lens and places it on the window. One by one his children begin to see visions of the past through it. Claiming it to be impossible, he finally sees it himself and orders the people within to leave them alone. The lens promptly melts.

Hmm, I don't think so. The think the robot was made so someone had to sit inside to make it move. Thank you for looking, though! I've googled all thses Before, but never had any good luck- probably using the wrong Words.

Oh yes, it is! Thank you so much! and I found The Other Window on Youtube and it's definitly the one too! :) I remember being very puzzled by it as a Child and thought it was because I was a small kid, but I Think it was a rather puzzling narrative. :)
