Summary: The distinction between cosmic horror and cosmic wonder is at least partly one's point of view. Lovecraft crossover.
Why I rec it: A boy is trapped inside the Master’s TARDIS and rescued by the Doctor. A happy story? No, not at all. I don’t think you have to have watched Doctor Who to enjoy it either, if you have read Lovecraft. And you don’t have to have read Lovecraft to appreciate this story, even if the author writes this fic in the same manner as Lovecraft and as pastiche it is very well done. But it also a rather chilling horror story, very haunting.
