What I am reading Wednesday

scripsiWhat I am reading now: I’m putting Det rena landet away for the time being. It’s very interesting, but a slow go and it will keep to my vacation. I’m also still reading A Private Disgrace and have started on The Ghost Fields by Elly Griffiths.
What I have finished reading: Nothing! Can you believe that? But May is busy and the Kid is on an extended stay as my ex is away. I’m not complaining, but when you just have your kid half the time, one want’s to spend time together when possible. Hence less reading.
What I will be reading next: No idea.
The Kid and I have managed Revelations of the Daleks and I’m happy to report that the Peri-drooling was kept to a minimum, she only got captured in the normal Doctor Who way and that she actually had some fun with Alexi Sayle’s rather whacky DJ. She also continues to have the same kind of clothes than I had in 1984. Her blue jacket was almost identical to one I had; only mine was black.
Penny Dreadful continues to be amazing and Eva Green has a huge part in this. Last episode was fantastic in a very dark way. Beautiful and frightening at the same time.
Outlander has reached it most gruesome part, we only got the torture in the last episode, but the rape is next, I suppose. I spent most of my watching with a pillow in front of my face, though Tobias Menzie is an outstanding actor. Well, because he is an outstanding actor, his evil radiates from the screen and makes me want to hide behind the sofa. But Frazer Hines had a small part as a rather kindly prison warden, which has to be a nod toward DW, as Diane Gabaldon has stated that Jamie in Outlander was inspired by Jamie McCrimmon.
