I enjoyed that. Nice to see those authors viewpoints on it. Some want you to leave it immediately and "grow up" while others still do it. I would definitely be in the latter category. I don't think I could give it up.

Yes, I thought it was very interesting. And really, the line if rather blurry, isn't it? There are a number of "sequels" to Jane Austenäs book for example- are they not fanfiction because the author is dead and someone paid to have them published? And The Deep Sargasso Sea that is mentioned in the article, I think it won a lot of prizes when it was first published. I certainly remember eading articles about it and how it showed a new view on Jane Eyre.
