Writing update

I may not have slept as much as I wanted this weekend, but on a more positive note; I got a lot of writing done. I finished the re-write of an old Peter Pan-fic that I still like but feel it benefit's from having most of the sex and violence removed. I finished a chapter of Sweet Nyssa and wrote about two thirds of the last chapter. I was finally struck by inspiration for the dw_guestfest and signed up for it. I'm to write about Chin Lee from The Mind of Evil and it will be up on April 2. Most of that fic is written as well. I also wrote bits and pieces for a rather smutty fic with Ainley!Master and Sarah Jane and drew up the outline for a fic with Nine and Nyssa.

I know it may sound odd that I switch so much between fics, but that works the best for me. I come to a point were I need to let it rest a little and then I go and write something else.

Rewrites can be great. I've gone back and reworked some of my old fics before and found it to be a wonderful exercise.

It's a pure pleasure-write. I need something to balance the Chin Lee-fic which is turning out very bleak. :)

No, not really. And I don't Think you go unscathed from being a minion to the Master.

Yay for so much writing! I've done a bit of the switching between fics in the past, too, it can be pretty helpful when you get stuck…

It took me some time to realise that it work best for me. I do it with my sewing Projects as well, swtiching between several Project. Relieves boredom. :)
