6 – When you write, do you prefer writing male or female characters?

I don’t think I have a preference. I write more fics from a female point of view, but I probably write roughly 50/50. I like an interesting character, whatever gender.

All my fellow Doctor Who-fans heads up! public_call needs nominations. And if you don’t know what it is, I quote: a secret santa fic exchange for Doctor Who and its various related fandoms, run through LJ and AO3.

I probably write more male characters if you do a headcount, but I don't really have a preference. I don't pick characters because they are male or female, but because something about their story fascinates me.

I agree, it's the character and the story, not gender. :)

I largely write male characters not out of any gender preference, but because I find the character interesting (or easier to write).

In general, most media have more male characters than female, so it'snot so odd if one find more male characters interesting. :)

I have a tendency to write more male characters...besides the obvious, I tend to wonder why, lol!! I just...don't write many women. Even my 'ocs' are male!
