The authors of the Remix was revealed last night and it turns out that my remixer is the lovely thisbluespirit. Thank you darling! You already know that I love it, but I thought I should thank you again! I’m not completely surprised, though, I had some suspicion. :)

Just two weeks to go until my vacation, that is good as well.

Thank you again! And, heh, here was me thinking I'd been very anonymous! (I guessed yours, too. And astrogirl's, and that my remixer was probably paranoidangel. I think we may all be getting to know each other too well.)

It was a fun one to remix; I kind of went straight for the Master/River series, and while it being a series gave me pause as to how to do it, I had no doubt it had to be that one.

I'm so glad you enjoyed doing the remix! Writing Master/River is probably the most fun I have ever had when writing. I always felt that River was rather like a mix between the Doctor and the Master and that probably is one reason to why the Doctor is attracted to her. Sort of what the Master could have been if he wasn't evil. And then it was very easy to imagine that would mean the Master would like River a lot too and vice versa.

I think, too, that even though Remix is quite a large exchange, you can be in quite small familiar groups in a particular fandom, so, yes!

Your fic had a whole lot of interesting stuff about River and the Master and the Doctor, so that made it really good to use. I loved how thoughtful you were about it all & slightly guilty that I mostly went "well, let's do it all again, but with more jewel heists!" but obviously there should be a jewel heist.

Thank you! I think I spend far too much time thinking about the cause of actions when I write. :)

But I think you did added a whole new layer!With the Master's need to control everything it makes perfect sense that he would try to shape events after his own ideas. And in the process he got to know several aspects of River's personality- the scholar, the assasin and the adventurer. So you just didn't re-wrote it from the Master's POV, but added things that I think enhanced the story. :)

Of course there had to be a jewel heist!
