I’ve had a very stupid day today. I work Saturday, so I had the day off, but I slept badly. I’m still not completely free of my cold and it makes me lethargic and not keen on doing anything but drowse on the sofa. Then husband came home and managed, in very short order, to break the lamp in the sewing room (he’s very tall and knocked it to oblivion when he took off his sweater), then he accidently kicked the dog’s water bowl so we had water all over the floor and then rounded it off dropping a glass, but luckily it didn’t shatter. If I’m reading the signs right, he will be sick tomorrow. For some reason the inanimate objects always gang up on him just before that happens.
