My head still feels like mud, so why not a meme. Gakked from all over my f-list.

What was the last movie you watched: Lara Croft; The Cradle of Life. It was quite horrible. I get that it’s fantasy, but please, some kind of logic? A teensy weensy bit? Because really, a temple who has been through two earthquakes, spent 2000 years under water and still retain air? Also, I have read too much Lovecraft to not think of nameless horrors in the deep. And that was just the first five minutes. I also cringe every time they fight and break precious antiques. But it had Ciaran Hinds in it. He is always worth watching.

What was the last song you listened to: Sexy Sadie with The Beatles.

Last TV Show you watched: How to Get Away With Murder

Last Book you read: Ghost stories of an Antiquary by M. R. James. One of those constant re-reads.

Ate: A chocolate cupcake with my afternoon coffee.

Where would you be if you could be anywhere in the world: Right now, in March- Italy.

What decade would you visit if you could travel in time: Hmm. I would like to go fabric shopping in just about every time before 1960. And shoe shopping in the 1930’s. And I would like to go to Vienna in May 1786 and see the premiere of The Marriage of Figaro.

First thing you’d do if you won the lottery: Tell my husband.

Pick a fictional character to hang out with for a day: The Doctor. Because then he could take me to the premiere of The Marriage of Figaro. Preferably Three or Twelve because I get along with grumpy sarcastic men.

Last fandom joined: A bit of a joint between Doctor Who and Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell which I both got hooked to in the autumn of 2014. But I’ve loved doctor Who since 2003, or so, it only took me 11 years to realise there was a fandom for it.

Love M.R. James stories, too.

I would want to hang out with Three because he was my first Doctor and he is my favorite. Twelve is a pretty close second because they are so alike.

And Strange & Norell is just...the thing!

James is great! Love horror set in historical periods. :)

Three wasn't my first Doctor, that was One, but Three is the Doctor that made Who click for me. He's my favourite Doctor too. And I love Twelve as well!

I really, really want that promised sequel to JS&MN to materlaize now!

I feel Three would appriciate the Marriage of Figaro. He seems the music type to me. Mind you, I may be biased, I'm very fond of Three. :)

*laughs at your despairing description of Tomb Raider* I haven't seen either - I suspect that I would shed tears too if I were watching them smash up all the historical artifacts!

I'm very fond of Three too. :) And a man who is wearing an opera cape must be fond of music. :)

Well, if you think Indiana Jones is bad at smashing artefacts, you have seen nothing yet...

Ciaran Hinds was in a Lara Croft movie? Oh, that is shocking. He is so excellent, at least in Rome. The Game of Thrones misused him horribly as they do all their big names guests, it seems.

I need to learn 1930's shoes, apparently. But the opening of Figaro? What an awesome idea! That so needs to be Who episode. I can't recall any eps centered around famous music/musicians/composers like that. I am really starting to dig how your mind works. Cheers!

He was and was the only good thing about it. I loved him in rome and actually lost a lot of interest when he died. I like him in GoT too, even if I haven't seen much of him yet.

I love shoes. :)

Yes, I Think that could be a great episode. And why not? we have had Shakespeare, after all. :)

I am really starting to dig how your mind works. Cheers!

As much as I love the Doctor, I don't think I'd pick him to hang out with if I wer somehow actually granted a "hang out with one fictional character" wish. Time travel is always tempting, but the risk of that fun day trip to the past getting ruined by alien invasions is just too high.

That's true, of course. But given how old he is and I doubt the alien invasions happen every day, I think I will take my chanse for a day without. ;)

I like your shopping plans. Time travel shopping, that's the real vintage shopping, right? I'd want to pick the Doctor for my fictional character to hang out with too.

Couldn't be more vintage, I think! :)

And imagine all the gosspi about your favourite historical characters he would tell you!

I really loved the last episode of How To Get Away With Murder. I think the S2 finale will be quite awesome.

I would love to hang out with the Doctor as well. :)

I haven't see that last ep of How To Get Away With Murder, though I like this season better than the first. :)

I think the Doctor must be very fun to hang out wwith (if one can handle the deadly enemies that insists of showing up.)

LOL, this is so true. btw; did you hear that they are thinking of rebooting the lara croft movies with daisy ridley? I haven;t researched too much on it, so it's probably just a rumor at this point, but I think she would be great.

No, I didn't. :) I'm not familiar with Daisy Ridley, but I can't imagine a reboot could do anything worse... :)

Ha, yes you need a time traveller to get to a past decade:)

Because I like obscure stuff I'm of the fandom of the mind view, otherwise I wouldn't be a fan of anything!
