I want to go to Spain. More specifically to Barcelona and down south to visit Alhambra. Prague is very high on my list too. I want to go to Egypt and Turkey, only not right now. Revisiting Italy in general, but especially Florens which I haven’t been to yet. Scotland- I have been to Edinburgh, but I want to see a bit more. I have been to, but would like to visit again; London, Bath, Paris and New York.

As you can surmise my idea of a holiday is not a beach somewhere, but cities.

I've been to some but not all of these cities but I like the beach, too. I get bored on the beach itself but I love the ocean and snorkeling is great fun.

I love swimming too! But my family have a summer cottage inthe archipelagio outside Stockholm, so I don't need to go to specal vacations for that. :)

I'd love to go to Barcelona too, just to gawk at the architecture. What would you like to do there?

The architecture for me too. i have wanted to see Sagrada Família since I was a kid. :)

I'd love to go to all of those places too! I prefer cities as well. I already live near the beach, anyway. Cities seem more interesting! :)

I like museums and old buildings, and generally there are more of them in cities. :)

Although not in general a city person, I did love Granada and the Alhambra when I went there years ago, and would love to go back. Seville, too, and Cordoba: the bits where there is Moorish architecture.

One day, perhaps: I am sadly deficient in Spanish.

My parents went to Granada last year and loved it. My Spanish is pretty much nill as well.

My idea of trips is a combination of cities and beaches. :-) And historic sights, can't forget that! Sounds like lovely places all of them!

My family has a summer cottage in Stockholm's archipelagio, so the beaches come in there. :) And I don't like too strong heat, so laying on a beach in a warm country doesn't appeal. But historical sites- yes! :)
