Gakked from sallymn Perhaps it will help me to shake my fic-writing fingers into action again:

Tell me about a story I haven't written, and I'll give you between one and three sentences from that story.

Fandom I written in, for now, are Doctor Who (classic & new), Penny Dreadful, Peter Pan, Sleepy Hollow (the Movie), Harry Potter, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Historian/Dracula, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrel, Elizabeth of the New Moon and The Mummy. I probably could wringe out something in Grimm, Blacklist and Once Upon A Time too.

I am not sure whether this is an appropriate thing to offer, given that it is not from the fandoms on the list - but I have been wondering if you've heard of the film Sicario (2015)? I've seen it several days ago and have been unable to stop thinking about its stories. My partner was away and I planned to pick up some work on my thesis as I am behind - yet instead, I've been watching and re-watching this film, as well as devouring everything written on AO3. It has a small and intelligent fledgling fandom that, like the original film, seems to be into character studies that interweave vulnerability, intense connection, and violence.

No, I have never heard of it before. I have checked it up briefly now, and it seems it could be worth watching. :)

I hope you like it if you decide to watch it. There is a magnetic male/female connection there that is barely explored by the film itself but definitely detectable and captivating. And the male character in question has this incredible powerful presence where a very controlled and soft demeanour is combined with pure menace...
