The first five...

[livejournal.com profile] bearshorty named Harry Potter

The character I least understand Voldemort.- Well, I can understand why he is xenophobic, but not his fear of death.
Interactions I enjoyed the most- Luna with everyone.
The character who scares me the most.- Bellatrix
The character who is mostly like me.- Hermione, but not really. On the whole I don’t think I’m much like anyone in the books.
Hottest looks character- Hard to tell from the books, but when it comes to the movies: Lucius Malfoy.
One thing I dislike about my fave character.- Luna’s lack of critical thinking when it comes to her father’s beliefs.
One thing I like about my hated character.- Erm. Nothing?
A death that left me indifferent.- Wormtail's
A character I wish died but didn’t.- None.
My ship that never sailed.- Rather low-key, but I would have enjoyed Harry/Luna.

[livejournal.com profile] frelling_tralk and [livejournal.com profile] velvetwhip named Buffy

The character I least understand.- Xander
Interactions I enjoyed the most.- Spike and Giles.
The character who scares me the most.- Warren, because he is an all too real monster.
The character who is mostly like me.- Willow
Hottest looks character.- Spike.
One thing I dislike about my fave character.- Don’t know.
One thing I like about my hated character.- I can’t think of anything nice to say about Warren.
A death that left me indifferent. Don’t know.
A character I wish died but didn’t.- I would much rather that Andrew had been killed instead of Anya.
My ship that never sailed.- Until Tara showed up I dreamed a little of Giles/Willow.

[livejournal.com profile] snogged and [livejournal.com profile] dancingdragon3 asked New Who

The character I least understand.- The Doctor.
Interactions I enjoyed the most.- Twelve and Osgood.
The character who scares me the most.- Missy
The character who is mostly like me- Martha Jones with a bit of Osgood in the mix.
Hottest looks character.- Well, Jack Harkness is dashing, but I find Twelve a lot more attractive.
One thing I dislike about my fave character.- Don’tknow.
One thing I like about my hated character.- That Simms!Master became Missy.
A death that left me indifferent.- I think I was so indifferent to them that they are forgotten...
A character I wish died but didn’t.- None.
My ship that never sailed.- Can’t think of any. I just don’t ship characters in New Who much.

[livejournal.com profile] lost_spook asked Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell

The character I least understand.- Mr. Norrell.
Interactions I enjoyed the most.- Hard to say, there were so many great interactions.
The character who scares me the most.- Mr. Lascelles.
The character who is mostly like me.- Lady Pole.
Hottest looks character.- Chandlemass. And yes, I thought so even before the TV show.
One thing I dislike about my fave character
One thing I like about my hated character.- I didn’t hate any character.
A death that left me indifferent.- None.
A character I wish died but didn’t.- None.
My ship that never sailed.- Childermass/Lady Pole.

[livejournal.com profile] a_phoenixdragon asked The Blacklist

The character I least understand.- Red
Interactions I enjoyed the most.- Red and Liz.
The character who scares me the most. Red, actually, because I don’t understand him.
The character who is mostly like me.- Aram.
Hottest looks character.- Samar.
One thing I dislike about my fave character.- Red trying to manage Liz’ life.
One thing I like about my hated character.- Nothing.
A death that left me indifferent.- The guy Liz shot. I’ve even forgotten his name.
A character I wish died but didn’t. Well, so far all the character’s I’ve disliked have died.
My ship that never sailed. I still hope for Aram/Samar

As for New Who's deaths that leave you indifferent, I'd say it's difficult because, in Moffat's world, almost no one stays dead, so it has no meaning.

That is, of course, very true... :)

I share your hate for Warren (who doesn't?) but you've got to admit, he was *really* talented at making robots.

LOL, yes- he had a real talent for that. :)

Ooh, Harry/Luna...I would have loved to see that in the books. Luna was a fave of mine.

LOL, didn't Willow ship her and Giles together? I totally agree on Warren. I loved that whole season because the problems were so real to life. Warren's development as a misogynistic villain, going back to the sex-bot making, was well done, IMO.

I'm not caught up on the new Who seasons with Twelve, but Missy is a huge draw for me. I was convinced for a time that River was going to end up being the Master.

I love that you find Twelve the most attractive. Over thirty-five/forty characters do not get enough love!

I love Luna! And I thought she was very well-cast in the Movie too.

Yes, Willow talks about her crush on him occasionly. :) Yeah, Warren was a much too real villain, and yes, very well done too.

Twelve has quickly become my favourite New Doctor. And I Think Missy is wonderful! (I very much want her and River to meet.)

I love that you find Twelve the most attractive. Over thirty-five/forty characters do not get enough love!

Well, I never really cared for pretty boys- most men I find attractive are at least 35. Nowadays it's abit disconerting to realise that they are younger than me... :)

I really do have to get a copy of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell some time: a friend asked me if I could make her some icons for it, and poking round google images, it looks wonderful...

I may borrow this meme, though a little differently :)

Oh, gosh, yes, do!! (The book is a hundred times better than the TV show, but the casting and the pretty was wonderful. They did, however, really fall down on adapting the ending in ways that hopefully won't be so evident without reading it first, but once you have - it's one of the most awful, inexplicable changes I've seen an adaptation make and I'm still trying to find it in me to forgive them. ONE DAY. Or perhaps I shall go bitter to my grave, along with "what they did to Faramir" in The Two Towers.)

What's aggravating is we ,em>had the book in the house for years - it was Sis's - and just when I thought 'I might try that'... she gave it away :(

OMG, all of these!!

Lucius was gorgeous, yes?! UNGH. So much lovely for such a villain!

I get you...Red can piss me off with his 'Gotta make sure Liz is okay and does this' but Liz's waffling love/hate for him perplexes me and makes me more pissy than he does, lol! Red is definitely my fav though. Aram and Dembe are so close they are tied though...and who doesn't love Tom Evil!Rory as he is known in this house...hubby loved him to death! Such an epic cast, even as the 'main character' (Liz) doesn't even touch anywhere near a favs list for me.

*HUGS*

Happens so easily when it's Jason Issacs who plays a character...

I adore Dembe too! And Tom. Evil!Rory is a perfect nickname for him! :D

I agree! Lucius is smoking hot!
I always thought Neville/Luna would be cute.

I adore Missy from Doctor Who. She's kinda fabulous.

He is. But then every character played by Jason Isaacs are bound to be... :)

Neville/Luna would be very cute, I'm sure.

I Think Missy is taht too. Like an evil Mary Poppins!

I share you low-key like for Harry/Luna.

Chandlemass. And yes, I thought so even before the TV show.
I'm impressed. I did not get why everyone liked him so much, and then the tv show came and I was like... oh, I see, I'd not looked at this from this POV. XD (I mean, I'm sure people had more reasons to like him as well.)

Well, the description of Childermass in the books is pretty much my ideal man, so... And then casting Enzo Cilenti didn't help either. :)
