Cough

Bronchitis has struck. I felt a lot better yesterday, only to wake up with a temperature again today and a nast cough. As my doctor knows me and my lungs I can proably wrangle out some heavy-duty couch medication tomorrow via the phone, so I don't have to visit her.

Rarepair Fest have been revealed and got a really nice Penny Dreadful fic. I'll link to it properly when I'm at a proper computer. A bit weirdly it turned out that the person I wrote a fic for has deleted their account. Oh well, I hope someone else will enjoy reading it.

My own writing has been on a nice roll. I'm almost done with both the Mummy and the Versailles fic.

I'm thinking of actually nominating for Yuletide this year, now when it doesn't feel so scary anymore. I ave two dream fics I would love to read, and I may as well wish for it. I might even by lucky. I want the story of Joseph Curwen's wife from Lovecraft's The Case of Charles Dexter Ward. And I would want an AU-fic from Ivanhoe where Bois-Guilbert somehow doesn't die and eventually meet Rebecca again. And I'll probably ask for Versailles too. Or perhaps Jonathan Strange & Mr NOrrell, though the chances are probably pretty good that someone else nominate that fandom.

Ugh, I hope you are much better soon. Good luck with the writing. The Case of Charles Dexter Ward is a great story, so that would be a great fic idea.

I'm contending with an unpleasant cough as well (as I am prone to doing about twice a year.)
My doctors don't give me much for mine. Inhalers usually. The most recent gives me Prednisone. Nothing really helps though.

Hope the drugs help!

I've missed the pleurisy, but I've had some nice bouts of pneumonia. It really is no fun at all.
