THis and that

I had a really good weekend. My friend C came to visit on Saturday evening and stayed the night. Both she and K are in the middle of rather taxing educations so I don’t see them much during term. C is also working as she isn’t allowed any student's loan, so she is in a permanent state of exhaustion. So it was great catching up.

Much to my surprise two of my nominations for Yuletide has got an extra request and also offers. So it’s not completely unlikely I will get a fic for one of those. I also requested The Versailles, The Mummy Series and Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, which all seems to have a fair share of requests and offers.

Hobbes has given up sleeping in the shower to sleep on top of the (closed) toilet seat instead. Which means we have to remove him if we want to use it. And then have upset black cat hollering at you over the rudeness of waking him up.
