I know, another what I have been watching, already, but I’m not having the best of weeks. Spoilers ahead, at least for AHS and The Strain.

Husband and I have started to watch Victoria and like it very much. Rufus Sewell steals the show completely, but then he always does. And he has a very nice chemistry with Jenna Coleman. But even if the real Lord Melbourne wasn’t un-dashing in his youth, he was 40 years older than Victoria and not exactly Rufus Sewell at the time she became queen. I still enjoy the show, though.

We also finished season 7 of Charmed and are in agreement Oded Fehr was the best big bad the show has had. I wish there had been more of him! We are only two episode into season 8, but I must say I already find Billie the teenage witch rather annoying.

I’m still not tired of this season of American Horror Story, though I find it rather boring we are already told all but one will die. Right now it kind of feels like a counting down as one already knows most will die horribly. And it doesn’t really feel like we are going to find out more about the characters either. I enjoy the comparison between the “real” persons and the actors who portrays them. We haven’t seen much of the “real” ghosts yet, but I particularly liked that Kathy Bates actress gone mad wears a more generic “old fashioned” costume, while the real Butcher wears something that actually looks like what an upper class woman in the early 16th century wore.

The Strain season is over and was as usual uneven. I love the character of Abraham and Fet and their father/son relationship. And I like Eichorst, Quinlan and Palmer too. But the show is horrible when it came to female characters. We’ve had what, three and a half major female character and as of now, only one has survived. Also, all major character par one are white, and basically all minor character are as well. The plot is pretty uneven too, and I don’t but that a kid, even if his father has just killed his vampire brother, would blow up a nuclear bomb as retaliation. Especially as the father isn’t the one who gets blown to smithereens. I did hope he would, Eph annoys me so much, but I guess he is the main hero, so no such luck. I’m not sure I will watch the next season.

I watched the first episode of Class, but I’m not sure I will watch more. I never really warmed to The Sarah Jane Adventures, however much I adore HH. I didn’t warm up to anyone in Class, even if I liked a little Twelve in the DW desert we are in right now. Also, the show was so LOUD with a lot of in your face music, which I found distracting.

I can't recall ever seen Adina Porter in something else, but I really like her! And yes, it feels bit too given to have Sarah Poulson survive.

She was in True Blood as the mother of one of the main characters. First she was a hopeless drunk and then she got sober and became a church lady. And on The 100, she plays a warrior woman. That's what made me love her, that she could shift from one mode to such a different one and be so convincing in both. She's got some serious acting chops!

Yeah, so it's got to be Lee or Monet. Don't want the Final Girl to be a Final Boy, either. And I like Lee better than Monet, so . . . hope it's her. Despite.

Oh yes, I remember her from True Blood now. She was very good in it. :)
