Your main fandom of the year?
Hmm. Probably Doctor Who if we look at fanfic production. But I’ve always been in multiple fandoms at once and that has been more pronounced this year
Your favorite film you watched this year?
I watch so few new movies. Actually, the only new movie I did see was Eight Days A Week about The Beatles touring years. I liked it.
Your favorite book read this year?
I read plenty this year, though I totally fell off talking about my reading here. I’d like to pick that up again. None of what I read was mind-altering great, but I did love The Savage Garden by Mark Mills. I didn’t know what to expect, for some reason I expected a supernatural story. But I really enjoyed the idea of a 500 year old murder mystery being spelled out in the design of a garden.
Your favorite album or song to listen to this year?
I’m totally out of sync when it comes to new music and most of what I listen to are old stuff I’ve loved for years. But I really loved this one, that the video features my friends K and Fraulein Frauke was just bonus.
Your favorite TV show(s) of the year?
Versailles all hands down.
Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Versailles, I guess, but there isn’t much fandoming about it. What there is focus n Philippe and Chevalier. I get why and I love this pair in the show, but I’m not particularly interested in them fandom-wise. The pairings I like has one as in 1 fic, apart form my stories.
Your fandom that made an unexpected comeback this year?
Yes, I rewatched the two first Mummy-movies and remembered how much I love them.
Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
That Agent Carter didn’t get a season 3! I never get into Stranger Things which I know a lot of people loved, but I didn’t any expectations of it, good or bad, so I can’t say I was disappointed. OUAT keeps getting sillier, but I’m hanging on, so far.
Your fandom boyfriend(s) of the year?
Well, Fabien Marchal in Versailles made me develop a full blown crush on Tygh Runyan.

Your fandom girlfriend(s) of the year?
Does a crush on Peggy Carter’s wardrobe count?

Your biggest squee moment of the year?
Obviously none were so huge that I can remember it on the top of me head...
The most missed of your old fandoms?
None.
The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?
Don’t know. At the moment there are no shows I want to check out, and anyway- loving a show are no guarantee I will be involved in the fandom.
Your biggest fan anticipations for the coming year?
American Gods. I can’t wait! I also really look forward to new seasons of Doctor Who, Versailles and Orphan Black. I also look forward to The Man In the High Castle, though technically it premieres in December.

Date: 2016-12-06 03:45 pm (UTC)I didn't watch any new movies. It's an event if it's in colour with living people in our house!
