Writing update

For once a nice, relaxing weekend and I have got a lot of writing done. I just finished Sweet Nyssa, which is satisfying as it is the first Doctor Who-fic I conceived. I am also almost done with Burning, I just need to tweak the text and mull over a few things. I have written about 900 words for the prompt ‘stolen’ for who_contest, it will be the Nine and Nyssa-fic I have been thinking about for a while. I haven’t managed to write anything for ‘ail’, though.

I have also written a number of lines for an extended chapter two of Sliding Down the Razorblades of Life. It was nenya_kanadka who wished for the Master and River and spanking in the fanfic-meme, and flowsoffire said she wasn't averse to River and kinky, so that will be written. :). Also, another chapter has been re-written from my old Peter Pan-fic Man’s Greatest Joy.

And on and of I write on a post about the Fourth Doctor.

A good writing-week, in other words!

This week has been MADNESS as far as me reading or writing anything is concerned...I'm looking forward to being able to dig into your stuff more and write a bit on my own projects (nowhere near completion!)

I feel like kinky River (very probably a total switch) is pretty much canon. :D

River is definitely kinky (handcuffs in the bag) and is SO a switch! :D Funnily enough I can see Ainley!Master as a switch too, but Delgado!Master can only be dominant in my mind. And I'm probably the only one who can see introverted shy Five as dominant. But the my husband is introverted and shy and dominant so I guess I'm conditioned. :)

I'm completely with you on Delgado!Master as a dom. Though I have read at least one fic where he was totally into the fact that Three is so much taller than he is and more physically overwhelming. ;) So I could see him sort of bottoming sometimes. Personality-wise, though, he just enjoys running the show too much.

And you are not the first person I've seen say that they can see Five domming! For me it depends on who he's paired with. I have only the vaguest notion as yet of the Five/Turlough dynamic, for example, but I can see Five being the dom there. Whereas with his contemporary Master I imagine a lot of switching going on (and quite like the thought of pretty Fivey all laid out having terrible sexy things done to him, or in bondage or whatever...yum). So yes to both switchy Ainley!Master and occasionally dominant Five!

Now Gomez!Master and Twelve, I mostly just see as them biting scratching tearing each other's clothes off (probably bickering all the while) and not stopping to think who tops so much as constantly wrestling for control.

River and Gomez!Master would fight over the handcuffs. :D

To be truthful, I don't see Three as particulary submissive either. :) It says something about Roger Delgado's screen presense that I didn't notice that he was a rather slight, short man, until I saw stills. But yes, Delgado!Master wants to run the show. :)

Oh, good. :)And yes, it's really about personal chemistry- I could certainly see him as submissive too. Turlough, well, have you seen Planet of Fire? When he overcomes his cowardice he is surprisingly forceful, so I think Five/Doctor could go both ways.

They would! actually, I think River would fight anyone, that would be part of the fun for her.
