I just got spoiled, so a cut is in order so I don’t spoil anyone else.

I’m both really miffed over the spoiler, and really happy my favourite villain is back.

I have a friend who sometimes accidentally blurts out spoilers because she assumes they are already public knowledge. Fortunately, she didn't know about this one so we got to be surprised together.

I knew about that particular spoiler months ago -- but it was one of those things that was really nebulous, no one had any proof that it was true (eg photos on set or pretty much anything) and he wasn't on the cast list for the first three episodes, so I sort of wrote it off as wishful thinking. I was then sorta spoiled for it because I slept late, missed the UK showing via streaming, and saw UK people talking about it before it aired here. I really like said person so it should be interesting.

I got spoiled for that, but I still was fooled by the episode, because I thought it would be a different person!!

I think the TV listing magazine "Radio Times" spoilered it about 12 hours before the broadcast, but luckily I didn't see this until after I'd seen the episode, and searched for the actor's name. Great reveal in the episode.

Ah, sorry you got spoiled! I didn't and was totally blindsided when the reveal happened - really felt it came out of nowhere.

I was completely unspoiled and absolutely overjoyed. "Oh" was definitely right! :D
