01. Have you ever tried to reconnect with someone from your past, but were unable to find them/get in touch with them?
No.
02. If you had the opportunity to travel to one country or region on every continent, where would you like to go?
North America: Canada. I have visited USA several times and though I would like to see more of that country too, I have never been to Canada.
South America: Peru.
Europe: Spain.
Asia: Iran, but not in the current political climate.
Africa: Egypt, but not right now.
Australia: New Zealand.
03. Who was the last person to knock on your door or ring your doorbell?
A delivery man with our new vacuum cleaner.
04. Do you believe that the more that you give, the more you will get?
Depends. I think you have to give if you want something back, but that it’s also important to have boundaries and not allow people to use you up.
05. What is something you've recently discovered that you're absolutely in love with?
Nothing that springs to mind.
06. Have you ever had to go under anesthesia?
Oh yes. A cyst on an ovary when I was 21 and then a benign tumour in one breast two years ago. I also had a miscarriage before I had my son where my body didn’t realise my baby had died and I had to do the same procedure as an abortion to remove it. That was a terrible experience and I contracted an infection that left me sick for months.
07. Have you ever kept a blog that you used strictly as a journal?
Yes.
08. Are you good at remembering faces?
Yes, but I’m even better at remembering what people wear...
09. Do you ever put covers on your books?
No
10. Do you like to receive feedback on things you've made or done?
Oh yes. Getting feedback on a fanfic makes me glow the whole day. :)
11. When was the last time you felt you overreacted about something?
Never? I have a very even temper and almost never get upset over things.
12. How often do you chew gum? What's your favorite brand and/or flavor?
I don’t chew gum. It makes me frustrated to just chew and chew and never swallow.
13. Do you like watching commentaries on movies or TV shows?
Occasionally.
14. Do you ever save old magazines or newspapers?
I used to be a terrible pack rat but I’m working on throwing things away. most of my old magazines are gone now, but I still have a lot of clippings I need to deal with.
15. Can you take your own advice?
Occasionally.
16. Do you feel obligated to keep up with news/current events?
Not really. I scan a few online newspapers every day. If something seems interesting I look it up further.
17. Would you prefer to get an "object" gift or an "experience" gift?
Objects. But I would rather not get anything at all than something I don’t really want.
18. What was the first social network website you joined?
I started to use Internet in 1998 and belonged to various mail groups and eventually web forums. I joined LJ in 2004 and Facebook in 2007. But FB is only for people I actually know in RL and on the highest privacy setting. I set up a mirror account on Dreamwidth last year.
19. Have you ever met someone who looked like you?
I’m the spitting image of one of my great-grandmothers and I have a cousin who is 18 years younger than me who looks a lot like me. So much that people have thought I’m her mother. But I have been told there is a woman somewhere in Stockholm who looks a lot like me.
20. What is the worst natural disaster you've experienced firsthand?
Stockholm never gets natural disasters. The worst thing I can remember was a snowstorm four years ago when so much snow came that basically all kinds of public transports broke down for 24-72 hours.
