Why I rec it: I have just re--read the Vorkosiga Saga and this fic is a perfect missing scene, or rather scenes between the ending of Cordelia's Honor and Barrayar. The voices of the characters are just right and it is all just lovely about two people who has not faired that well in love before and have some sexual baggage to boot.

This fic! I love all of Philomytha's stuff, but honestly with this one I had to keep checking to make sure it was actually still fanfic and I hadn't picked up one of the Bujold books by accident. It was so totally them. <3

I have only just started to read her fics, but I really love this one! I agree, it really read like Bujold. :)
